Age Requirements

ALL USERS AND ALL PERSONS DEPICTED IN ANY CONTENT MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
All users must complete age verification before using the Platform
Sellers must complete full identity verification (KYC) before listing items
Any person appearing in photos or videos must be 18+
No content may reference, imply, or suggest minors in any way

Permitted Content

The following types of content are allowed on Sole Obsession:

Photos of socks (worn or unworn)
Photos of socks being worn on feet
Product descriptions and specifications
Pricing and shipping information
Reviews and ratings
Profile information and bios
Communication between buyers and sellers regarding transactions

Strictly Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate action:

Zero Tolerance (Immediate Ban + Report to Authorities)

Any content involving minors (under 18)
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind
Non-consensual intimate imagery
Content depicting real violence or harm
Human trafficking or exploitation

Prohibited (Account Suspension/Ban)

Explicit sexual content beyond the scope of the marketplace
Full nudity (genitals, female nipples)
Sexual acts or simulated sexual acts
Bestiality or zoophilia
Incest (real or fantasy)
Extreme fetish content (scat, blood, etc.)
Drug use or promotion of illegal substances
Weapons or dangerous items
Hate speech, discrimination, or harassment
Personal information of others (doxxing)
Impersonation or identity fraud
Spam, scams, or fraudulent listings
Copyrighted material without authorization

Photo Guidelines

All photos uploaded to Sole Obsession must follow these guidelines:

Acceptable

Clear photos of the socks being sold
Photos of socks on feet (ankle and below)
Photos showing sock condition
Lifestyle photos with socks as the focus

Not Acceptable

Photos showing genitals or intimate areas
Photos with faces (unless you consent to being identifiable)
Photos of other people without their consent
Stock photos or images you don't own
Screenshots from other platforms
Photos with visible personal information

Listing Guidelines

All listings must:

Accurately describe the item being sold
Include clear photos of the actual item
State the condition honestly
Set reasonable prices
Be for physical sock products only

Listings must NOT:

Offer services beyond the physical product
Include contact information to transact off-platform
Use misleading titles or descriptions
Duplicate or spam listings
List prohibited items

Communication Guidelines

When communicating on the Platform:

Be respectful and professional
Keep conversations related to transactions
Do not share personal contact details
Do not attempt to take transactions off-platform
Do not harass, threaten, or abuse other users
Report suspicious or inappropriate messages

Enforcement

We enforce this policy through:

Automated Image Scanning: Photos are scanned using Google Cloud Vision to detect prohibited content
Profanity Filter: Text content is automatically screened for inappropriate language
Human Review: Flagged content is reviewed by our team
User Reports: Users can report policy violations
Regular Audits: We periodically review listings and accounts

Consequences

First Violation: Warning and content removal
Second Violation: Temporary account suspension
Third Violation: Permanent account ban
Severe Violations: Immediate permanent ban and report to authorities

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that violates this policy:

Use the "Report" button on any listing, photo, or message
Select the reason for your report
Provide any additional details
Submit the report

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed in error or your account was wrongly suspended, you may submit an appeal to [email protected]. Include your username and a detailed explanation. We will review appeals within 7 business days.

Policy Updates

This Content Policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification.
